Anna's Hummingbird (Calypte anna)

On the 1826 Le Héros voyage to San Francisco, Paolo Emilio Botta discovered the bird and collected it for François Victor Masséna, Duke of Rivoli.

Later, René-Primevère Lesson realized the bird had not been formally specified and named it after the Duchess of Rivoli, Anna de Belle Masséna.
